It all began on that hot day... Ra had sent me to my breaking point. I don't know if it was the fact that he lied about my past or the fact that he was creating other children as if to replace me. It didn't matter; I took matters into my own hands this time. I left Egypt and headed to Nubia. My rage had made me hot and the heat of the day didn't help. I abandoned my human form and took on the form of a wildcat or even a lioness. Everything from vegetation to people were dying. Death lingers with every step I take. With sandy dunes surrounding me from Egypt to Nubia.
The people of Egypt were growing sad. Without me there was not joy in any persons life. Ra had hid himself away with sorrow deep within himself. Each day I wasn't in Egypt, the more danger Ra had faced. So Ra had to get me back, although there was a bargain. Because I had power over life and death, no god dared to face me. Ra was running out of time and asked the wisest god to come forth and fetch me back. Thoth, with a heavy heart, agreed.
Thoth had turned himself into a baboon. He had searched near and far and had finally found me. There I was sitting on a rock, as a wildcat, and was licking my fur. There he said "Hail, daughter of the Sun!" This made me want to kill, but once I saw it was a baboon I did not attack. I was in no mood to be my fathers daughter, so I threatened his life. To stop me from killing him, he tells me a story. I had listened and he had told me of life back home. I longed for my family, I longed for the life I had left behind. This was until I realized that is exactly what this foul creature wanted. I was going to kill him until he began to tell of another story. He had begun to walk away, me being curious, I followed him. This is how Thoth brought me home to Egypt.

Resolution
Now you may be wondering. how could someone with so much anger simply follow a baboon home. Well curiosity is what happened. I made sure to keep my distance but I was still close enough to be able to hear the stories that were being told. I followed him back to Egypt, where Ra and I were able to come to an agreement and the people no longer were miserable. I turned back into my loving self and life went back to normal.

Climax
Now Ra had sent Thoth to find me and fetch me back. I am living out a life of anger and revenge, when a baboon comes my way. I can tell this creature prays for my anger not to burst and if it does, he is not the target of fire. I am ridden with anger and this foul creature dares to tell a story. I let it tell its story and this baboon feeds me herbs from Egypt.
My anger began to subside and I longed for my life back in Egypt... My family, the people, the one's who worshiped me. I had even began to weep at the thought of my life back home. Yet this fool was trying to trick me.. He thinks I'm an idiot! I threaten his life in one swift gesture. I had turned into a giant lioness. The fool baboon pleaded for Ra to save him and offered to tell another story. I let my anger cool, only due to curiosity, and turned back to my wildcat form.
This is how a baboon and taken me home to Egypt.

Conflict
It all started with Ra and I.... I am his Eye of the Sun or that's what he said.... Who wouldn't get jealous if their father was creating other gods and goddesses? He had me, wasn't that enough? My father and I fought and as a result of the fight, I began to wander the south deserts of Nubia.
Being so enraged, I abandoned my human form and turned into a wildcat/lioness. Although I am not proud of it, in a fit of rage I had killed every living creature in my path. No one can come to face me... No one can bring me back to Ra. I don't need him anymore...

Character Development
My adventure includes my father, Thoth, the people of the land, and myself. Ra (Re), my father, has the head of an hawk and the body of a man. He is the sun god of Ancient Egypt. Ra is believed to be one of the oldest gods as well as the creator of everything. Ra is very powerful and his worshipers are as well.
Thoth is the god of knowledge, wisdom, the moon and magic. He is considered to be the inventor of hieroglyphics. Thoth is the secretary of Ra and the script of the Underworld. Thoth has the head of an ibis and the body of a man.
The people of Egypt suffered because of my father and I's dispute. Because of my angry towards my father, the water is drying up and the people are suffering. Although eventually, because of Thoth, I come back and restore peace.

There are sounds of death and sorrow throughout all of the land. The smell is retched. Death lingers from killings and dehydration. From both destinations there is a landscape of sandy dunes.

Three Cultural Refrences
Over the years I have developed quite a fan base. Although many of my followers are from the Egyptian culture, I do have some pieces of art of myself as well as sculptures.
First is The Narmer Palette. This piece was resembling the union of Upper and Lower Egypt. On the top and bottom are portraits of myself and there are lionesses, which represent Sekhmet. These two pieces are combined to create the main picture and concept of the picture. Unity.
The next piece is a from the myth "Eye" of Re. I have been thought to be both his wife and his daughter. Therefore, I have always been close with the sun god.
Lastly, for a more pop culture reference, I was the basis for a episode of Stargate SG-1. In this episode I am talked about and the myths about me are mostly relevant. Although, in this picture I am referenced as a sort of sex symbol.... I bit disturbing if I do say so myself.

Attributes Part 2
As the Goddess of Love and Happiness, my duty to to take care of mothers and their children. As I have said before, I am associated with the animal the cow. I am also attached to the necklace the menat.
I come from Egypt and I have a temple in Dendera. Many of my worshipers built this temple in honor of my ruling.

I am joyful although sometimes Sekhmet gets to me. When I become Sekhmet, I become ruthless, vengeful, and deadly. Becoming Sekhmet is my only downfall. Otherwise I work for the mothers and the children. I bring love, beauty, dance and music where ever I go.
Being the goddess I am, I am friends among many. Ranging from the Pharaohs, royals, mothers, children, and gods and goddesses. The only occasional enemy I have in Ra, but my love for Ra removes any hatred that has or will develop.
My symbols include my head-dress, myself as a cow, and menat.
Attributes Part 1
My name is Hathor. I also answer to Het-Hert, Het-Huru, Hwt-Heru, and Hethara. These names all originate from the meaning "House of Horus [The Elder]". I'm the goddess of many things. I am the Mistress of Heaven, the Goddess of Love, Cheerfulness, Music and Dance. I am known as the Mother of Mothers; the Celestial Nurse whom takes care of matters involving women, fertility, children and childbirth.
Originally when I was first worshiped, I was worshiped in the form of a cow. Sometimes I would be looked upon as a cow with stars on my head.
In later years I was depicted as a women with the head of a cow.I am finally thought to be a women with a broad and placid face, sometimes having cow horns or ears. My head-dress contain two cow horns with a moon-disk placed between the two. I occasionally wear a menat necklace, symbolizing rebirth.
I am the daughter of Nut and Ra. I am the wife of Ra and the mother of Ihy. Many legends portray me as the mother of Horus the Elder. Others as the wife of Horus of Edfu, thus having a child between the two of us known as Horus the Younger.
I have been known to slay..... Almost completely destroying mankind. It was not me, yet it was.The one who almost killed mankind and its entirety was Sekhmet. Sekhmet and I are closely related.. By closely, I mean we are one. We share the same body and soul, although I am kind. I do not kill, I celebrate life, rebirth, and joy. Sekhmet on the other hand, does enough bad bidding for the both of us.
